Maybe a small amount of fear, thats how it felt when I found out that our family  had been given the opportunity to live in the nations capital for two months.  

On a Thursday night in May my husband sent me a text saying that we were going to Washington D.C. for the summer.  (Yes, life long dream of mine to live in DC)  So we packed and re-packed, got the kids through their respective graduations had wonderful family in town and tied up as many loose ends of Photography as I could before we left.

The night we left the plan had been to drive out by three p.m. and head to Texas.  Finally at 6 were off and running, having to leave behind the Coffee Pot (a life source for me) and the stroller, they just wouldn’t fit.  Two stops for the bathroom later we were in Texas at a Residence Inn.
